Therapeutic Expressive Art
Therapeutic expressive art is a multi-sensorial process that includes the visual arts, music, movement, writing, and drama; it's routinely used in psychology, medicine, and spiritual practices to promote emotional health and well-being. Create4Wellbeing offers online classes and webinars that combine expressive art practices with imaginal and positive psychology, wisdom traditions, and energy work as a way to support self-discovery and healing. Unlike traditional talk therapies, therapeutic expressive art is indicative rather than interpretive, there's no end goal, assessment, or diagnosis. When we open ourselves to the field from which all expressions arise, we are better able to witness the movement of our thinking and emotions without becoming overly identified with them.
Imaginal PaintingSM
Imaginal PaintingSM is a practice that allows paint and brush to override the chatter of narrative mind in order to reveal the more expansive space from which healing and deeper insights arise.
